Ask Us About RV Living Full Time
This is the best way to reach us if you’ve got questions about RV living full time. We’re not always on the grid, of course, but we will do our best to get back to you quickly.
How will YOU stay in touch with folks once you’re out there RV living full time? (Or even just long weekends or during weeks away from home)?
Here are some of our favorite tips:
Get set up with mail service.
UPS stores, Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA), and other options are out there.
A good phone is a must.
It’s a pain, but updating your phone regularly can mean the difference between being able to use it when you need to and finding yourself holding a worthless block of plastic (or throwing it!). Newer phones tend to have better battery life, but you’ll want to be sure to travel with a speedy-charger and any cords and plugs you need to charge on the go.
Finding wifi on the go is easy if you know where to look.
Using your phone only in wifi areas will help you not go over on your data plan, but finding free wifi can be a challenge. For some, the solution is buying a bigger data plan, but for others, it may work best to plan ahead to be online only in a wifi zone. Some folks who are RV living full time find it helpful to set an automated response on their email accounts to let people know that you only check email a couple of times a day and that you’ll get back with them. Not a good idea to say you’re on the road, though – especially if you still have a permanent residence.
